Our creative leads were awarded Academy Certificates for outstanding VFX work in 'The Triangle' in the year 2005. In 2008, our work claimed an Emmy award for HBO mini series 'John Adams'. Filaments Visual Effects opened its doors in the year 2004 by founder Mr. Amit Dhawal who had worked for various studios as Rotoscoping, Digital Paint and Compositing Artist.
Filaments was started to serve the Visual Effects Studios who were struggling to keep the cost low and also save time for the compositors to do the creative work.
Filaments soon became famous for delivering the shots overnight at the highest quality and within the budget. The hand trained talented group of artists and the highly motivated management team are the key for Filaments' success.
In the past ten years, Filaments has worked with the majority of visual effects houses in United States and overseas as their extended division as well as independent film makers.
Some of our clients include Walt Disney Pictures, Marvel Studios, Paramount, Columbia, Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
